Trivia: The film pays homage to actor Denholm Elliott, who died in 1992. He had appeared as Indiana Jones’ sympathetic colleague Marcus Brody in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) respectively, and is present here on an oil painting in the university halls, on a photo on Indiana Jones’ personal desk and as a statue on the campus.
Goofs: Anachronisms: During the warehouse scene taking place in 1957 a 50 states USA flag is shown. Hawaii and Alaska didn’t join the USA until 1959, so there should be a 48 states flag.
