Trivia: In a bit of foreshadowing that is only seen in the movie version, Lucius Malfoy takes one book out of Ginny Weasley’s cauldron, but drops two back in.
Goofs: Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Just before Harry, Ron and Hermione are taking the Polyjuice Potion, Hermione clearly says that they’ll turn back into their selves after an hour. However, when Harry and Ron return from the Slytherin common room after they’ve turned into their selves again, they see Hermione in the bathroom, still looking like a cat. This isn’t possible, since the three of them took the potion at exactly the same time, so Hermione should already have changed back into herself. (However in the book, she says the potion is much stronger for changing into animals and shouldn’t be used for that.)
